Farveinspiration: Emerald – Pantone Colour of the Year 2013

2013 er grøn som smaragder
Hvert år vælger Pantone en farve, der bliver “Colour of the Year“, som inspiration til bl.a. designere og brands. Her i 2013 faldt valget på Smaragdgrøn (Emerald). Grøn er den farve der optræder mest i naturen, og det menneskelige øje ser mere grønt end nogen anden farve i farvespektret.

Smaragdgrøn er nem at inkorporere i mode og interiør, og mange designere har allerede taget farven til sig i deres forårskollektioner. Bonusinfo: Smaragdgrøn er desuden farven på hovedstaden i Oz (Smaragdbyen/Emerald City).
Pantone beskriver selv farven således: “A lively, radiant, lush green, a colour of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony”. Perfekt til forår!

2013 is green like emeralds
Every year Pantone chooses a colour to be “Colour of the Year, to serve as inspiration for e.g. designers and brands. In 2013 the chosen colour was Emerald Green. Green is the predominant colour in nature, and the human eye sees more green than any other colour in the spectrum.
